Chocolatina’s German Chocolate Pie

4oz. Semisweet Chocolate
2 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
14 oz. (1 can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
4 Egg Yolks
1 tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Salt
½ c. Pecans, toasted and chopped
Melt chocolates together. Whisk together milk, yolks, salt and vanilla. Mix in
chocolate. Mix in pecans and pour into prepared shell. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
or until set. Let cool.
Topping:
4 oz. Brown Sugar
4 oz. Heavy Cream
2 oz. Butter
2 Egg Yolks
1 c. Coconut
½ c. Pecans, toasted and chopped
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Put brown sugar, cream, butter and yolks in a pot over medium heat and cook
until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in pecans, coconut
and vanilla. Spread on top of baked chocolate filling
Crust:
1 c. Graham Cracker crumbs
¼ c. Sugar
4 TBSP Butter, melted
Mix together and press into greased 9” pie pan. Bake at 375 for 7 minutes.
